About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations and ensure the organization's long-term sustainability. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including leading actuarial work to monitor and recommend actions for ACO performance, managing funds flow, and leading the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance in all tax and finance-related matters, overseeing finance operations, and developing strategic growth opportunities. Collaboration with health center CFOs, supporting the CEO in government contract negotiations, and serving as the primary executive for the Board Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees are also integral to the role. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must possess a Master’s degree in business administration or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years' of professional experience in financial planning, oversight, and management. The role requires a versatile leader with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience in the MassHealth ACO program and with Federally Qualified Health Centers is desirable, as is a background in anti-racism activities or lived experience with racism. The CFO will be expected to have a strong analytical skill set, the ability to translate strategic vision into operational models, and a history of engaging and developing staff.
