Field Service Controls Technician

Job Description Job Description Located in West Chester, OH Salary: $32-$36/hr+ Field Service Controls Technician Location : West Chester, OH Pay : $32-$36/hr+ Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in field service, quality control, or technical support with PLC exposure * Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic, HMI databases, electrical schematics, P&ID drawings, and O&M manuals * Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI systems, including basic programming and troubleshooting * Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including VFDs, chillers, boilers, and BAS integrations * Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% (including overnight travel) * Effective communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve field issues independently Responsibilities: * Perform pre-startup activities including system checks, component testing, and PLC/HMI I/O validation * Lead equipment startup and commissioning at customer sites, ensuring proper system operation, sequencing, and communication between components * Identify, document, and help resolve system issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed * Make minor PLC and HMI program adjustments to support system functionality and performance * Train customer personnel on system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs * Complete detailed service reports, upload project documentation, and support project closeout activities * Assist with in-house quality control, final assembly testing, and provide remote technical support to customers as needed #SRGDH Express Office: Cincinnati (Northwest) 1375 Kemper Meadow Drive Suite A Cincinnati, OH 45240
