We are seeking a skilled Municipal/General Public Agency Attorney to join our Lozano Smith values diversity team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful legal work that directly impacts communities across California. Duties & Responsibilities Advise city councils, boards, and commissions during public meetings and closed sessions. Drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies. Providing counsel on issues related to the Brown Act, Public Records Act, conflicts of interest, and other public law matters. Handling matters involving public procurement, real property, and economic development. Partnering with school districts, community colleges, cities, counties, and all types of public agencies. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies. Compensation Salary: $120,000 - $225,000 per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
