Adoreal partners with a select group of top-tier aesthetic and cosmetic medicine practices, providing the technology, operational support, and talent that help them deliver an exceptional patient experience while they scale. We are recruiting on behalf of one of our partner practices, a high-end, luxury plastic surgery practice based in Maryland.

Position Summary

Belcara Health is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Photographer & Digital Media Coordinator to support our clinical teams and marketing initiatives.

This position is responsible for producing consistent, high-quality clinical photography documenting patient outcomes, including before-and-after photography, while also supporting Belcara Health's digital presence through social media content, live video, provider profile management, and other marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with patients and providers in a medical environment, has a strong eye for visual consistency and detail, and understands the importance of patient privacy, professionalism, and brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Medical & Clinical Photography

• Capture standardized before-and-after photographs for plastic surgery, aesthetic, skin, wellness, and other applicable services.
• Maintain consistency in patient positioning, lighting, backgrounds, camera settings, and photographic standards.
• Coordinate photography with providers and clinical staff throughout the patient's treatment journey.
• Ensure photographs are appropriately labeled, organized, stored, and associated with the correct patient record.
• Maintain photography equipment, lighting, backgrounds, and designated photography areas.
• Assist with selecting and preparing before-and-after images for provider review and approved marketing use.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Belcara Health privacy policies.
• Confirm appropriate patient authorization and consent before any clinical photography is used for marketing, social media, website, or promotional purposes.

Marketing & Digital Media Support

• Assist with creating and organizing visual content for Belcara Health's website, social media platforms, digital campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
• Prepare approved before-and-after photography for digital and social media use.
• Capture photographs and video content of providers, staff, procedures, events, educational content, and practice activities.
• Assist with planning, recording, and coordinating live videos , educational videos, patient testimonials, and other digital content.
• Assist providers and leadership with creating timely, engaging content that reflects the Belcara Health brand.
• Maintain and update provider and practice profiles across appropriate digital platforms.

Patient Experience

• Provide a professional, comfortable, and respectful experience for patients during photography.
• Clearly explain the photography process and assist patients with appropriate positioning.
• Maintain sensitivity when photographing patients before and after surgical or aesthetic procedures.
• Protect patient dignity and privacy at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure photography is completed without unnecessarily disrupting patient flow.

Requirements

• Experience in photography, videography, digital media, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Medical, plastic surgery, aesthetic, dermatology, or healthcare photography experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, image quality, and photographic consistency.
• Experience with photo and basic video editing software preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with patients, physicians, advanced practice providers, and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive patient images and information.
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements preferred; training will be provided as necessary.
