As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.76 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
