ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Representative for Amy Long Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., you play a vital role in our daily business operations by managing existing client relationships and seeking new client relationships. You will grow our agency through exceptional customer service, meaningful customer relations, and proactive marketing of relevant products and services. You will make a difference in our community by connecting customers with personalized options to meet their needs, visions, and dreams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs. 
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. 
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
• Meet sales goals as directed by the agent.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
• Ability to take initiative and take necessary actions with little direction from others
• Goal-oriented and highly motivated to achieve results
• Self- confidence/perseverance/strong work ethic to remain positive and maintain progress toward goals in spite of obstacles and adversity
• Ability to organize and act on several activities concurrently
• Coachable, with a desire to learn and apply knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders

• Trustworthy, dependable and ethical
• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred but not required.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Successfully complete all company, state, and federal requirements to sell and service designated State Farm products and continue to be licensed and in good standing, to include at a minimum:

• Kansas Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Kansas Life & Health Insurance License
