This role involves performing a range of routine and advanced imaging procedures within an interventional radiology setting, providing comprehensive patient care and technological support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• Perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Support other imaging technologists as needed to maintain patient flow
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
• Manage image processing and archiving systems
• Collaborate with peers and management to foster a positive work environment
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in interactions and communications

Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist - Interventional Radiology

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Basic computer experience required
• Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, or Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS required
• Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, or other preferred certifications advantageous
• State Licensure required if in New Mexico
• BLS certification via AHA required
