Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echo Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel contract role in Santa Fe, NM. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing diagnostic echocardiograms on both adults and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
• Coordinate activities with interrelated hospital departments including scheduling exams and patient transport.
• Assist cardiologists by preparing and measuring M-modes and providing pertinent diagnostic information.
• Respond to patient needs during exams and report any changes in patient condition.
• Order Echo supplies and maintain a clean, well-stocked workspace.
• Log patient information and exams, and file patient records accurately.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and share on-call responsibilities for emergency exams.
• Maintain quality control of equipment and coordinate repair services when necessary.
• Stay current on advancements in Echocardiography and seek mentorship from cardiologists.
• Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed.

Requirements of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required.
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.
• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association.
• Two years of experience actively performing echocardiograms preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a two-year allied health education program.
