What You Will DoImprove non-supportive material and complete kit delivery to meet factory need datesManage on-time delivery (OTD) metrics to deploy a team of supplier-facing Material Program Managers to identify risks/issues and deploy mitigation strategies to avoid negative impact to factory performanceCollaborate closely with factory, cross functional counterparts of every level and suppliers to improve RTX OTDPrepare and present executive communications to address program challenges and the supplier recovery plans and actionsBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliersIdentify constraints and lead mitigation and improvement plans to enhance supplier delivery performanceLead or co-lead weekly supplier status meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)Interface with and influence all levels of internal managementContribute to and execute the Material Program Strategy (MPS) and the Material Program Plan (MPP) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performanceDevelop strong knowledge of supplier operations and the product lifecycleImplement and drive proactive risk mitigation measures for events such as supplier acquisitions, relocations, or restructuringIdentify and remove barriers impacting on-time delivery and material flowDrive completion of tasks such as line-of-balance (LOB) reviews, factory need date gap analysis, material coverage, tracking, and sub-tier supportCommunicate effectively across multiple levels of leadership within Raytheon and the supply baseManage multiple projects and coordinate with numerous functions concurrentlyLead and support process improvement efforts through CORE initiativesGather feedback and identify new improvement opportunitiesLead and influence cross functional teams to achieve successful outcomesRecommend and lead course correction efforts with supply baseTravel domestically up to 50%Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experienceExperience leading supply chain, operations, program management, or cross functional projectsExperience leading projects from planning thru to executionU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We PreferExperience as a people manager; supervisor, lead, etc.Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools or other relevant applicationsExperience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiativesWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
