Mechanical Engineering Manager

We have an opening available for a Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Syracuse, NY area.

As the Mechanical Engineering Manager you will manage a team of highly technical engineers.

Key duties include:

  • Manage the mechanical engineering departments productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
  • Manage schedule and budget for all mechanical engineering resources on projects.
  • Identify and implement improvements in working processes and procedures.
  • Manage engineering backlog.
  • Participate in design reviews, quote reviews, and estimates.
  • Develop and motivate engineers in their career growth.

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising groups of Engineers.
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Engineer.
  • Knowledgeable with 3D modeling, PLCs, AC/DC drives systems and ERP systems.
