Must be available for first day orientation (full shift) on a Tuesday or Thursday

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements
- New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI cert only)
- One (1) year of previous long-term care (LTC) experience
- High School Diploma or GED

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care.
- Maintain resident safety and a clean environment, including timely response to call lights and proper use of safety equipment.
- Support residents' nutritional needs by ensuring proper meal delivery and dietary preferences are honored.
- Implement rehabilitative needs such as range of motion exercises and proper body alignment.
- Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols regarding potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Compliance / Notes
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
