Service Operations Specialist

Job Description Provide guidance and support as a utility player who specializes in all aspects of the team’s service experience including project engagement, key controls, coaching, analysis and problem resolution. Strong in all aspects of service experience and able to partner effectively with multiple business partners. Support team key performance and risk indicator management, performing analysis, while contributing to recommendations and implementation. Key Responsibilities Perform routine reporting and analysis, contributing to recommendations for cost basis and tax, along with assisting in small to medium-sized projects within cost basis. Provide analysis within existing reporting models, while recommending minor adjustments. Make recommendations based on reporting and analysis that best meet client, regulatory, or business objectives. Develop solutions for routine and less complex problems for cost basis and tax reporting. Troubleshoot, resolve problems or issues while contributing to defining solutions in a Lean environment. Assist in the training of current and new team members. Assist the team in processing tasks, when needed. Required Qualifications Education: Associate degree or equivalent. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in service or operations. Post‑secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience. Excellent documentation, attention to detail, and prioritization skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with Access/database applications. Strong analytical, quantitative & problem‑solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis. Strong knowledge of business operations and processes in more than two areas. Ability to communicate effectively regarding recommendations and analysis results and establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization. Ability to initiate and implement process improvements. Benefits Base Pay Salary: The estimated hourly rate for this role is $26.15 – $35.96 per hour. Variable pay options include bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives. Benefits include vacation time, sick time, 401(k), health, dental, and life insurance.
