Busser

About the Role:

Barbarian in Stowe, VT is looking for an energetic and motivated Busser to join our team! You'll play a key role in keeping our dining room running smoothly and ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Responsibilities:

Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain dining room flow

Assist servers by refilling water, supplying the correct plates and utensils, and supporting table needs

Maintain cleanliness of dining room, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces

Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and linens and transport to the kitchen

Restock service stations with supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments

Communicate with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure seamless service

Assist with opening and closing side work duties as assigned such as polishing glasses and silverware and brewing coffee

Requirements:

Previous bussing, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays or tubs for extended periods

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
