Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Travel Nurse Yakima, Washington
This role supports the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and related telemetry/medical-surgical coverage within the healthcare providers clinical units. The position requires strong critical care and patient monitoring skills, including experience with specified procedures and medication infusions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night and day shifts available; 12-hour shifts (19000730 and 07001930), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience; at least 1 completed travel assignment; experience with patient types including CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, diabetes mellitus (DM), blood product administration, BiPAP, CVA overflow, and post-cath patients (including TR band care and femoral approach exposure); experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, and dressing changes; and experience monitoring femoral arterial sheaths.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial line (Art line) placement/management; Impella and/or Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care across the assigned units (including Telemetry 2EW, Med-Surg, and Neurology-Medical); administer and manage prescribed infusions and related therapies including diltiazem, amiodarone, furosemide (Lasix), nitro, and heparin; participate in weekend rotation every other weekend; maintain clinical documentation in EPIC.
