Duties

Help

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Veterans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments; plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.
• Administer medications and procedures following VA policies and safety standards.
• Promote Veteran autonomy, dignity, satisfaction, and wellbeing.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other team members.
• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and performance initiatives.
• Provide leadership appropriate to grade level-mentoring, delegating, or assuming charge responsibilities.
• Document care accurately, ensuring alignment with MDS/RUG requirements in collaboration with the MDS Coordinator.
• Maintain strict adherence to privacy, security, and patient safety protocols.
