Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have: BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), Starting and maintaining IVs

Description:
Direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit.
12-hour night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, working 3 days a week.
Every other weekend is required.
Patient ratios are 1:4-5.
Floating between facilities may be required to meet needs.
Patients will include acutely ill Med/Surg patients transitioning from ICU and cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring and IV medications.
Special procedures and equipment management skills are necessary.
No-call requirements.
The facility is an acute care hospital.
The total staffed capacity is 97 beds.
Daily responsibilities will include managing care for a diverse patient population, necessitating clinical judgment and nursing skills.
