Pierz Fabrication specializes in custom metal fabrication, welding, and repair work. We take pride in producing quality work for a variety of customers and industries. We are looking for an experienced, reliable welder who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can take a project from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements.
• Fabricate custom metal products, frames, gates, brackets, and other components.
• Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld metal parts.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication tools.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work independently while meeting project deadlines.
• Identify problems and use good judgment to find practical solutions.
• Assist with a variety of custom fabrication and repair projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Strong MIG welding skills and knowledge of welding techniques.
• Ability to read measurements, follow drawings, and work with precision.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet.
• Commitment to producing quality work while maintaining efficiency.
• Ability to safely use shop equipment and tools.
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
