Title: Business Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ — Hybrid/Primarily Remote; Local Candidates Only, with travel to various work locations required

Type: Contract — 6 Months

Compensation: $60.00 - $67.00 / hour

Position Overview

Phoenix Staff is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Salesforce-focused business initiatives. This role will collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements, evaluate processes, and support the implementation and enhancement of scalable Salesforce solutions.

The position is primarily remote with a hybrid duty designation and requires travel to various work locations as needed. Candidates must currently reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Salesforce initiatives.
• Convert business needs into clear functional requirements and specifications for technical teams.
• Act as a key point of coordination between business stakeholders and development teams to maintain alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Evaluate current-state and future-state processes, perform gap analyses, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support Salesforce configuration and testing activities involving objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and related platform functionality.
• Participate in Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and other project initiatives to support successful and timely delivery.
• Create and maintain process flows, data mappings, requirements documentation, and other project artifacts.
• Facilitate user training and contribute to organizational change-management activities.
• Recommend Salesforce platform improvements and established best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Salesforce experience required, including experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira required.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across functional teams.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and/or SAFe.
• Candidates should ideally bring 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst capacity, including at least 2 years working with Salesforce.
• Must currently reside in the Phoenix, AZ area and be able to travel to different work locations as required.
• Must be available for an in-person interview within one week of the posting close date and able to begin work within two weeks of an offer.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting or managing large-scale case management systems.
• Experience with Salesforce data migration and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs.
• Experience developing or supporting Salesforce reports and dashboards.
