Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule
12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915)
Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements
- Active State of Hawaii license required by the start of the assignment
- BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
- 2-10 years of nursing experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical and surgical units.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.

Compliance / Notes
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday. Dress code is professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.
