Manager, Contracts (Hybrid)

Overview The Resilient Connectivity Products Portfolio, within the Collins Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit, has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts for the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) program. This candidate will be a key member of the program team responsible for cradle-to-grave contract management activities including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration and closeout. The role provides cost-plus incentive-fee development support for a new award from the U.S. Navy. Responsibilities Coordinate customer communication, contract management, change management, invoicing, and fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications. Apply business acumen and subject-matter expertise to interpret program performance requirements, provide guidance and influence results in support of program and financial objectives. Work closely with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel and cross-functional peers on program gate reviews, business strategy sessions, risk management activities and all other contractual matters. Partner with cross-functional team members in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract implementation and administration. Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking creative contracting techniques and collaborating with stakeholders. Provide strategic advice on contractual rights, obligations, regulations and procedures to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes. Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned rapid-response requirements. Qualifications – Must Have University degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience. Capability to obtain or already possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Experience with U.S. Government fixed-price and cost-type contracts under the FAR and DFARS. Experience leading contracts and/or negotiating contracts with customers. Knowledge of the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) process. Qualifications – Preferred Experience in administration and negotiation of complex proposals and contracts. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders. Experience interfacing with DCAA and DCMA for proposal reviews, audits and fact-finding. What We Offer Competitive salary range: 118,300 USD – 224,900 USD. Medical, dental and vision insurance.
