Competitive base salary of $178,000–$210,000 plus hours-based bonuses up to 45% of base and additional merit-based bonuses Hybrid schedule with presence in the office expected at least three days per week Full coverage of the associate’s health and dental insurance premiums and 30% of premiums for dependents Firm payment of bar fees and CLE costs Early and frequent client-facing opportunities Realistic path to becoming a shareholder for those who demonstrate commitment and professional development Inclusive culture with strong loyalty among clients, attorneys, and staff Minimum 1,800 billable hours, with approved pro-bono work (up to 100 hours) and DEI work (up to 25 hours) counting toward the target Job Details Job Details / Responsibilities: Support one or more of the firm’s practice groups in active litigation matters Handle a range of litigation work including legal research, drafting, discovery, analysis, and case management Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with consistent attention to detail Work independently as a self-starter while collaborating effectively as part of a team Contribute to matters involving government contracts, construction disputes, or employment litigation (including wage and hour class and PAGA actions) Qualifications Active California Bar license 2–5 years of litigation experience Solid academic credentials Excellent writing skills Strong analytical abilities with consistent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Self-starter capable of working both independently and as part of a team Highly desired: Experience litigating government contracts, construction disputes, or employment matters (especially wage and hour class and PAGA actions) Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
