PRN Home Health COTA - Washington, NC

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Provide therapy services along with vocational and education programs and activities which are delegated and supervised by the qualified Occupational Therapist in accordance with the patient‘s Plan of Treatment
• Train patient and family members to manage the retraining program including dressing, feeding, grooming and hygiene skills
• Document and report observed information and progress reports in patient records and prepared clinical notes
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities and act as a resource to other health care personnel in meeting patient‘s needs

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of North Carolina
• A valid driver‘s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Health experience

Pay Range

$41.00 - $57.00 pay per visit/unit

$64,000 - $87,500 per year base pay

Additional Information

Driving Statement

You will be a part of Humana‘s driver safety program and therefore will need a valid state driver‘s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.

TB Statement

You will be patient facing, therefore apart of Humana‘s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to undergo TB screening.
