Quality Assurance Technician (Evening shift) We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician for our evening shift at Nestlé Health Science. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of safety, consistency, and compliance. Shift Schedule Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (2nd shift) Onboarding Schedule Structured 4–5 day onboarding program, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this within their first week. Position Summary As a Quality Assurance Technician you will work directly on the production floor, reviewing documentation, performing inspections, and supporting teams with quality guidance. Your attention to detail and commitment to doing things right will help us deliver products people love with confidence and care. Responsibilities Perform in‑process testing and AQL inspections Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy Approve pre‑startup activities and equipment checks Release batch records and work orders Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance Participate in shift review meetings Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED required 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens Flexible to work overtime based on business needs Skills Proficiency with using computers, tablets, and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing equipment Ability to read, write, and understand English Team‑oriented and dependable Compensation The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.98 plus a $1.50/hour shift differential. Final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
