Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through telehealth platforms to enhance their mental health and well-being.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients about their emotions and life experiences to help them develop greater self-insight and improve their interpersonal relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining personal goals and exploring pathways to achieve those goals.
• Evaluate clients' mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans, implementing approaches grounded in evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards while minimizing administrative tasks to focus more on client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are prescreened, stable individuals with low acuity, ensuring you work within a manageable caseload that allows you to provide optimum care. The clientele is diverse, and we emphasize creating a network that mirrors the unique backgrounds of those we serve. This diversity enriches the therapeutic experience, making it easier for clients to connect with therapists who understand their individual cultural contexts.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license in good standing, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted for this position.
• Strong decision-making skills to evaluate treatment options and develop effective service plans.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and sympathetic nature.
• Proficient in using digital platforms, ensuring that you can effectively manage telehealth sessions and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and approaches.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency practices in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 104,000, dependent on experience and hours worked.
