Job Summary and Qualifications Coordinates the clinical management of the stroke patient population and their families across the entire continuum of care. Serves as a leader for the stroke program performance improvement initiative. Acts as a clinical resource/ role model for all areas caring for stroke patients. Provides and/or coordinates educational activities for both staff and patients. Acts as a community liaison on behalf of the program and hospital. Directly involved in the marketing/promotion of services provided. Incorporated within each of these role functions, the stroke coordinator is a role model, patient advocate, change agent, leader, and cost-effective practitioner. What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact license Bachelors Degree required SCRN Certification preferred 3+ years of experience in Neurosciences or Emergency Care field Benefits Medical City Lewisville, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
