Compensation: $18$22/hour based on experience, plus performance incentives and advancement opportunities

POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dependable, hardworking Field Service Technician who is excited to learn both pest control and lighting installation.

This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable technical skills, work across multiple service lines, and build a long-term career with a growing company.

No prior pest control experience is required. We will train the right candidate.

WHAT YOU'LL DOPest Control Services

• Perform residential and commercial pest control treatments

• Conduct property inspections and identify pest issues

• Apply products safely and according to company standards

• Educate customers on prevention and treatment recommendations

• Complete service records and documentation

Lighting Installation Services

• Install permanent roofline lighting systems

• Install landscape lighting systems

• Install and remove holiday lighting

• Troubleshoot and service lighting systems

• Work safely on ladders and aerial lifts

General Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service

• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment

• Follow company safety procedures and standards

• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates

• Represent Pest Hunters and Humbug Lighting professionally at all times

TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONAs part of this position, technicians will be trained to perform professional pest control services.

Within the first several months of employment, employees will be expected to:

• Earn a Tennessee Category 7 Pest Control Applicator Certification

• Complete company training and ride-alongs

• Learn pest identification, inspection techniques, treatment methods, and safety procedures

• Maintain all required certifications and continuing education requirements

AER Home Services provides:

QUALIFICATIONSRequired

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to obtain a Tennessee Category 7 Pest Control Applicator Certification

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred

• Pest control experience

• Construction, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, maintenance, or home service experience

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Customer service experience
