Data Entry ClerkReporting to the Dean for Enrollment Management or designee, the Data Entry Clerk(s) are responsible for back-office data entry duties related to student records. This security sensitive position reviews for accuracy and enters student data into the CRM Recruit and Ellucian Banner systems. This position works to ensure that other staff in the Admission's Office and other areas have access to accurate student applications and student data in the appropriate formats.Responsibilities/DutiesMeets the daily data entry performance goals set by the Dean for Enrollment Management or designee.Reviews student applications, transcripts, participation forms, institutional documents, or other records for accuracy.Enters student demographic information, transcripts, grades, etc. into CRM Recruit or Ellucian Banner.Enters other related information into CRM Recruit and Ellucian Banner such as test scores, SAT/ACT information, GPA, high school name, residency information, and other student data.Responsible for organizing student records in a systematic manner.Maintains operational records and logs of activities and work completed.Follows detailed instructions to ensure data entry accuracy.Addresses student inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.Monitors student accounts in CRM Recruit and Ellucian Banner and takes necessary actions in a timely manner.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED2-years of experience performing data entry, or other professional office functionsExcellent organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree3 or more years of experience performing data entry functions in an educational or similar environmentBCCC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
