This role offers the opportunity to lead and support a diverse portfolio of projects, including:TSMOIntelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) SolutionsDigital InfrastructureRoad Usage ChargingManaged LanesTolling / Congestion PricingMobility on Demand / Mobility as a Service (MOD/MaaS)You'll collaborate with local offices and international teams, contributing to high-impact transportation initiatives across the U.S.This is a remote role: candidates can sit out of any WSP office. Tallahassee, FL, Atlanta, GA, NYC, Washington D.C., Nashville, TN are key locations.We are open to different levels of experience and encourage more senior-level professionals to apply. Ideally candidates will have at least 8 years of similar TSMO experience.Key Responsibilities:Support or lead TSMO, ITS, and V2X projectsSupport planning, policy analysis, funding strategies, system requirements, concept of operations, strategic communications, and risk management with a focus on multimodal and freight solutionsSupport national research and deployment efforts, including USDOT, NCHRP, and pooled fund studiesDrive or support business development and strategic pursuits nationally and locallyRepresent WSP to clients, agencies, subcontractors, and industry groupsDevelop promotional and proposal materialsBuild strategic alliances and partnershipsSupport or lead strategic project pursuits and participate in contract negotiationsAnticipate client needs and market trends, and develop strategic action plansCommunicate effectively in remote and cross-functional teamsUphold ethical standards and WSP's Code of ConductWhat You'll Bring:Proven ability to build and sustain client relationshipsDeep subject matter expertise in TSMO and ITSExperience managing complex project deliverySuccess in leading winning pursuits and maintaining a strong project pipelineStrategic thinking and adaptability in a fast-changing environmentCollaborative leadership and commitment to excellenceMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in engineering, transportation planning, public policy, or related field8-15+ years of experience in the transportation industryDemonstrated leadership and client networking skillsStrong analytical, quantitative, and communication skillsActive engagement in relevant industry organizationsU.S. work authorization requiredAdherence to WSP's Code of Conduct and safety policiesPreferred Qualifications:Proven success in managing and deploying ITS, V2X, and TSMO programs for state and federal DOTsRecognized thought leadership in innovative mobility initiatives
