Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with daily care needs and responding promptly to their requests.
• Supporting the admission process by orienting patients to the unit and equipment.
• Carrying out delegated nursing tasks to help implement care plans.
• Maintaining patient safety by properly using equipment and supplies.
• Managing and restocking supplies to ensure a well-organized patient environment.
• Participating in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engaging in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Performing waived testing and maintaining required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrating responsibility in customer satisfaction and patient throughput.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Nursing Assistant certification mandatory.

Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Requirements include:

• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read and write English.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Flexibility with work schedules and ability to learn new skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist patients as needed.
• Visual and auditory acuity to observe patient conditions.
• Willingness to work variable shifts and exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
