PeopleSoft Fixed Assets Techno-Functional Consultant Location: Richmond, VA - Hybrid with 3 days onsite Duration: Long-term, ongoing contract Day to Day Insight Global is seeking a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Fixed Assets to support a large-scale ERP initiative for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Following a major PeopleSoft upgrade, the team is launching a new implementation of Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting, with a projected go-live in early 2028. This is a high-impact, long-term role where you’ll serve as the PeopleSoft Fixed Assets Subject Matter Expert (SME) – playing a key role in both implementation and ongoing production support. Key Responsibilities Serve as the functional lead/SME for Fixed Assets (Asset Management module) Contribute across the full SDLC (design, build, test, deploy) Lead requirements gathering with business stakeholders Document current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes Support development of reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements Validate system changes through regression and system testing Maintain and update business documentation, job aids and training materials (as needed) Communicate status updates on tasks, issues, and tickets Must Haves 10+ years of PeopleSoft experience Deep expertise/subject matter expertise in Fixed Assets Experience in General Ledger (GL) & Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to read SQL & PeopleCode Well-versed in the standard system development life cycle, including design, development and testing of system objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion programs, Extensions/Modifications) Business analyst experience – requirements gathering, creating test scripts from scratch, UAT, gap analysis, etc. Strong understanding of Asset lifecycle, system configurations, business processes, integrations, and reporting Plusses PeopleSoft Lease Administration experience Compensation $65/hr to $95/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
