Senior Salesforce Administrator/Platform OwnerDarling Consulting Group (DCG) is a leading national provider of consulting services and a suite of online analytical software tools for banks and credit unions. We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to play a key role in our CRM platform.Our Salesforce platform sits at the center of our next major transformation — how we evolve sales, marketing, and the operations that support them. We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to optimize the strategic use of the platform, partner with the business to shape that transformation, and deliver simple, maintainable solutions that scale as we grow.This role goes beyond delivering new capabilities. You will be equally accountable for reducing complexity and establishing sustainable standards for how the platform evolves. You should take a collaborative, first-principles approach to improving business processes — thinking holistically, challenging assumptions, and leveraging modern tools, including AI-assisted development, to deliver solutions that are built to last.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on configuration with platform ownership, values thoughtful solution design, and is motivated to improve how Salesforce supports the business over time.Responsibilities:Solution Design & DeliveryPartner with sales, marketing, and operations to understand business goals and design processes that are simple, scalable, and aligned to outcomesTranslate business needs into scalable, well-architected solutions where Salesforce is one component of a broader technology ecosystemMake thoughtful decisions on when to use Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, or when not to automateLead delivery of initiatives from design through implementationOperational LeadershipHelp manage and prioritize the Salesforce backlog across departmentsPartner with stakeholders to define scope, sequencing, and expected outcomesSupport structured release management and change control processesTeam & CollaborationFoster a supportive, teach-and learn team dynamic where continuous feedback, mentoring, and skill expansion thriveAct as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical resourcesCollaborate with external partners for specialized initiativesPlatform Health & SustainabilityFacilitate solution design with business stakeholders so they feel ownership of the outcome, rather than receiving solutions handed down to themDevelop and support power users within each line of business, equipping them to extend their own teams' use of the platformBe accountable for the overall design, performance, and maintainability of the Salesforce environmentEstablish and enforce best practices across data model, automation, user experience, and securityIdentify and lead efforts to reduce technical debt and simplify existing customizationsDrive prioritization alignment with stakeholders across the organizationConfiguration & DevelopmentBuild and maintain automation, user interfaces, reports, dashboardsDevelop or support Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components when neededManage integrations with third-party systems and ensure data quality across the platformAI-Augmented DevelopmentLeverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate developmentCritically review, test, and refine AI-generated solutions to ensure quality and maintainabilityUse AI to improve speed and consistency without increasing long-term complexityRequirements:7–10 years of progressive business and technology experience, with substantial hands-on Salesforce administration in a complex, highly customized environmentDemonstrated experience designing and improving cross-functional business processes — comfort operating at the intersection of business process design and Salesforce configuration is essentialStrong understanding of Salesforce data model, Flow architecture, and platform capabilitiesExperience designing scalable solutions and influencing how problems are defined—not just executing requestsProven ability to simplify processes and avoid unnecessary automationExperience using or willingness to adopt AI-assisted development tools responsiblyComfort working across multiple business functions with competing prioritiesAdditional Skills:Proven track record of change management and cross-functional leadershipSalesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder a plus)Experience refactoring or stabilizing a highly customized Salesforce environmentFamiliarity with integrations, APIs, and data management best practicesExposure to Python, Azure, or Microsoft-based automation tools
