Description SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing general functions of the restaurant and bar services during an assigned shift. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pauma Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, in accordance with section 703(i) of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, will give preference to Native Americans who meet job position minimum qualifications with regard to hiring, promotions, transfers and training.
- Oversee all food and beverage operations during assigned shift.
- Process and complete bi-weekly payroll
- Complete purchasing of F&B products to ensure inventory
- If necessary, perform functions of bartender, hostess, cashier, and waitress during the assigned shift to assure efficient operation.
- Answer employee questions and provide guidance in the performance of their duties.
- Train new restaurant personnel in the performance of their duties and provide assistance as problems arise.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Develop schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Communicate shift information to employees.
- Monitor shift and shift changes to insure proper coverage or to prevent excess staffing.
- Complete necessary paperwork for the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- One to two years working in a food and beverage operation and general supervisory experience or
- successful completion of a supervisory training program.
- Knowledge of Restaurant and Bar operations and guest service
- Knowledge of alcoholic drink preparation.
- Ability to be guest/service oriented.
- Ability to recognize an intoxicated patron.
- Skill in organization and communication.
- Ability to insure team concept in the workplace.
- Constantly walking and standing
- Constant hearing, seeing and talking
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- Close spaces while working with others
- Excessive noise and smoke
