Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a close-knit team that values collaboration, responsiveness, and quality.Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid work schedule in one of the following office locations:Seattle, Spokane, Olympia, or Tacoma, Washington or Portland, OregonWhat You’ll DoAs a senior member of the water resources team, you will have the opportunity to:Lead and manage water resource projects from concept to proposal to execution Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships Identify new clients and lead business development for water resources opportunitiesMentor junior staff and contribute to team development Analyze and interpret hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and water quality dataAssist with the design of supply wells, aquifer storage and recovery, and ground source heat pump injection well systems Provide senior level technical review on a wide range of water supply development, water rights permitting, and hydrogeologic evaluation deliverablesPrepare and provide senior review of technical reports and regulatory documentation Lead water rights assessments, transfers, and applications in WA, OR, and IDWhat We’re Looking ForBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, engineering, or a related field 15+ years of relevant experience in water supply, hydrogeology, water rights, and project management in WA, OR, or IDExpertise in the regional geology, hydrogeology, and local regulations, including familiarity with Washington and Oregon water rights and/or hydrogeologic settingsStrong project management, writing, marketing, and communication skills Strong understanding of the water resources business market and clients in WA and ORClient relationships that are likely to lead to successful business developmentAbility to conduct occasional site visitsValid Driver’s LicensePreferred:Professional licensure (e.g., LHG, LG/RG, PE, CWRE)Experience mentoring and training staff and willingness to manage junior technical staffExperience with groundwater and/or surface water modeling What We OfferLandau Associates offers an excellent compensation and benefits package in an environment that promotes personal growth and professional advancement. The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $205,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
