Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from RemX | The Workforce Experts Salary: $150K - $175K DOE + bonus and benefits Growth: Direct path to CFO or VP roles We are seeking a strategic Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. While the primary focus of this role (90%) is on finance and accounting, the position also includes limited support for HR-related administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking to take ownership of financial management while contributing to operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, and revenue recognition Prepare timely, accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards and applicable accounting regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning Maintain and strengthen internal control systems, policies, and procedures Monitor financial performance and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership Coordinate year-end audits and support tax filings with external partners Mentor and manage accounting staff; support team development and performance Drive process improvements and optimize use of financial systems and tools HR Support: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing Maintain employee records in line with company policies and legal requirements Assist with onboarding of new hires and provide basic support for HR documentation and compliance Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, or general HR policies Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA a plus) 5–7 years of accounting with minimum three (3) years’ financial leadership experience Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS regulatory requirements Knowledge of international currency to equate with US currency Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information Experience with ERP and financial systems; familiarity with HRIS and Sage 500 a plus Strong proficiency with Advanced MS Excel and MS Office Suite of Programs Seniority level Seniority level Executive Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at RemX | The Workforce Experts by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
