Mechanical Assembler

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling precision mechanical and electromechanical equipment by following engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. The ideal candidate enjoys working with mechanical systems, has excellent hand skills, and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Experience with precision mechanical assembly, coil winding, electromechanical assemblies, prototype builds, or other high-precision manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and work instructions. Perform manual coil winding and assemble precision magnetic components and assemblies. Build mechanical subassemblies and final assemblies using hand tools, torque tools, fixtures, and precision measuring equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly documentation. Perform precision fitting, fastening, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical components. Inspect completed assemblies to verify workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications. Support prototype builds and low-volume production activities. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble precision mechanical components. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembly prints, work instructions, and bills of materials. Experience using hand tools, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment. Experience performing manual coil winding or fine mechanical assembly is highly preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Experience working in prototype, low-volume, or high-precision manufacturing environments is a plus.
