About the Role As Category Manager II, Procurement – Software, you will lead strategy for Enterprise Software & SaaS categories, transforming tactical buying into 3‑year roadmaps that balance cost, innovation, and risk. What you’ll do Drive value by executing category strategies, building should‑cost models, and delivering multi‑year projects that yield year‑over‑year benefits. Manage categories by creating multi‑year sourcing strategies, drafting value‑based RFPs, managing supplier MSA agreements, and leading quarterly Strategic Business Reviews with Tier 1 suppliers. Build and strengthen strategic relationships across IT, Finance, and business functions, acting as a strategic advisor and challenging stakeholders to think beyond transactions. Leverage procurement technology and advanced sourcing capabilities, using digital tools, analytics, e‑Auctions, CLM platforms, and TCO thinking to maximize value. Act as a thought partner, rationalizing the software portfolio, identifying white‑space growth opportunities, and providing market intelligence on SaaS pricing and AI trends. Who you are Passionate about procurement with experience in category management in a global organization; expertise in Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cloud, or AI platforms preferred. Willing to question the status quo, ask “What If” and “Why Not”, and drive solutions through data‑driven should‑cost models and market intelligence. Strong work ethic, accountability, and disciplined execution with a focus on outcomes and supplier performance. Results‑oriented, able to navigate ambiguity, and experienced in developing and executing strategic category roadmaps. Excellent written and oral communication, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS) and a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field add value. Salary Range $101,800.00 – $132,400.00. Employee pay varies based on experience, location, and competencies; minimum wage or higher rate applied as required.
