Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication clarity, language mastery, fluency, voice modulation, and safe swallowing practices. Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to synchronize care efforts. Educate patients and their families to support therapy progress in their day-to-day lives. Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, contributing to seamless continuity of patient care. Ensure all documentation is precise, timely, and adheres to state, federal, and institutional standards. Stay abreast of the latest advances in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if ASHA certification is not acquired. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first month of employment.
