Base pay range $250,000.00/yr - $325,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Aionios LLC Director of Operations/Co-Founder at Aionios A nationally respected law firm with a sophisticated emerging companies and venture capital practice is seeking a talented Corporate Associate - ECVC with 3–5 years of experience to join its dynamic Transactions team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with startup founders, early-stage companies, and top-tier venture capital funds across innovative industries including life sciences, AI, defense tech, blockchain, digital health, and more. About the Role The associate will play a key role in guiding early-stage and growth companies through all stages of their lifecycle—from formation and capital structuring to venture financings, M&A, and IPO exits. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial associate looking for hands-on experience, meaningful client contact, and exposure to fast-moving deal environments. Key Responsibilities Advise startups and venture-backed companies on formation, equity structuring, and governance Draft and negotiate financing documents, including SAFEs, convertible notes, and NVCA-based agreements Support venture capital funds and strategic investors in equity financings and investment rounds Counsel clients on day-to-day corporate matters and strategic business planning Participate in due diligence, deal management, and cap table modeling Collaborate with partners and cross-practice teams on complex transactions What They’re Looking For JD from an accredited law school 3–5 years of relevant corporate transactional experience, preferably with a focus on early-stage companies and VC Experience with cap table construction, SAFE and NVCA financings, and general corporate advisory Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset Bar admission in the jurisdiction of your preferred office (Boston, New York, or other U.S. locations) Compensation Base Salary Range: $250,000 – $325,000 Additional bonuses and benefits offered in line with firm policy This is a standout opportunity for a mid-level associate who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about working with cutting-edge companies and investors in the venture ecosystem.
