Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
- Adhere to all infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department needs.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous related experience is advantageous.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
Work Schedule: Second shift, typically from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
