Associate - Support Services Housekeeping Full Time Days

Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical housekeeping and laundry duties with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and supply replenishment.
• Conduct project cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains as assigned.
• Deliver supplies, pharmaceuticals, and medical records to satellite locations within the region.
• Manage linen processing duties including sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
• Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment, reporting any needed repairs promptly.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations to protect patients and staff.
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
• Work collaboratively with team members, offering assistance and fostering a cooperative environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, reporting safety concerns and maintenance needs.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and follow infection control procedures diligently.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or related support services is advantageous.
