POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our growing team! In this role, you'll assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures, manage supplies, and contribute to the overall success of the clinical operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding care.Travel between our different office locations is required, as this position supports multiple offices as we continue to grow as an office.Schedule: Monday- FridayESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:Perform clinical procedures as directed by the orthodontist, including changing wiresAssist doctor in explaining treatment plan and progressReview instructions with patient/parentAssist doctor in fitting/delivering orthodontic appliances and all other clinical office needsMaintain supplies and cartsUpdate treatment card notes for each visitReview patients health history and update changes after seatingRadiography patients as neededTake records (scan and load photographs)Maintains clean treatment rooms in compliance with all CDC and OSHA regulationsSets up and turns over room in efficient mannerMaintains and sterilizes dental equipmentPerforms other duties as requested by Practice Administrator or dentistsNotifies Practice Administrator in timely manner and according to policy when out sickCheck Appliances delivered to the office before appointmentWe Invest in YOU – Benefits That Support Your Growth & Well-Being:At Valley Advanced Orthodontics, your success is our priority.
