Senior Accountant Consultant
$42 - $50 per hourKforce
DescriptionKforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant. This role maintains a general ledger and related records, and also balances accounts. Responsibilities:* Prepares daily cash receipts, bank deposits, other eft activity and single point uploads and balances cash accounts; Maintains PDF copies of all checks and deposits* Maintaining all investment accounts and monthly reports for investment accounts* Handles monthly general ledger journal, reports, and other business functions; Maintains monthly journal entry books and converting to PDF storage* Maintains record of fixed assets and depreciation* Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and prepares appropriate schedules and reports* Maintains general ledger reports and reconciliations, helps assist in annual audits and quarterly reporting* Assists in helping with mail sorting and making sure items go to the correct departments* Assist and reviews analysis of patient billing and receivable along with monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable accountsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting* 3-5 years of previous hospital accounting experience* Must be proficient in accounting software including automated payroll systems* Not for profit accounting experience is a plusJob TypeContractCompensation42 - $50
