Job Description Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center‑Kenosha seeks veterinarians interested in emergency medicine for a 6‑9 month training and mentorship program. Program Overview The program prepares veterinarians through a hybrid curriculum of core competencies, live patient exposure, simulation, didactics, and mentorship. Program Highlights 5‑day work week: 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off weekly. Training in Chicago with rotations across Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Radiology, and Neurology. Daily rounds and live continuing education led by specialists. Dedicated mentor on shifts; mentorship tailored to individual needs. Competency‑based curriculum with asynchronous learning and weekly live virtual didactics. Duration & Commitment 6–9 month training program, ideally starting June 2026. 12‑month commitment as an ER clinician after training. Locations Home site: Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center – Kenosha, WI. Training site: Premier Veterinary Group – Chicago, IL. Requirements Team‑oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable. Valid work authorization in the United States; TN status may be considered. Familiarity with emergency medicine core competencies preferred.
