Primary Responsibilities:
- Client Insight: Learn client business needs, control systems, and industry-specific GAAP/GAAS issues.
- Assurance Services: Assist with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
- Audit Support: Perform substantive testing, examine financial statements, and review internal control procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Documentation: Create organized, accurate, and clear workpapers to support engagement findings.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns or information filings for various clients.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients and the LLG team to gather necessary financial documents and information.
Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of prior public accounting experience; CPA license or CPA candidacy is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate complex data.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop/Online), MS Office (Excel/Word); Experience with CaseWare and DataSnipper is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, team collaboration skills, and discreet handling of confidential data.
