You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or shoppers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed by established protocols. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and assist with access control, visitor direction, and customer service needs as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
