As a Overnight Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and that our guests Feel Welcome from the minute they step into their room. You will assist with the cleanliness and overall presentation of the public areas and assist Housekeepers in the cleaning and stocking of all guest rooms and maintenance of guest floor storage areas. Deliver and collect items from guest rooms as requested. What You Will Be Doing Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of main housekeeping supply rooms Stocking of carts and closets with linens, general supplies and guest supplies essential to the cleaning and servicing of the guest rooms. Collection, removal and disposal of trash and dirty linens from checked out rooms as well as trash from public area of section you are in charge. Cleanliness of outside windows, hallways, stairs, balconies and railings, trash rooms, elevator landings, ice machine rooms, storage areas and closets. Delivering and retrieving items to and from the guest rooms. Supplying arrival room with bathrobes. Assisting Supervisor in completion of special requests or misc. projects Clean and keep orderly, all assigned public areas Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Sign in and out master keys, radios/mobile electronics daily Be familiar with Hotel’s technology and communication platforms, and utilize to ensure hotel operation and guest satisfaction Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office Follow all departmental policies and procedures and service standards Report necessary maintenance items Adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Follow all safety and sanitation policies Other duties as assigned What Is In It For You Discounted hotel rooms and food & beverage rates to employees at our sister properties around the globe.
