Sr. Product Manager, Global Pricing Platform

What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for our Global Pricing Platform, with a primary focus on leading product management and strategic development initiatives in vehicle pricing. This platform serves as the backbone for defining and executing pricing strategies across all Tesla products and services, spanning our vehicle, Robotaxi, service, and energy sectors.

In this role, you will spearhead the product vision and roadmap for part of pricing platform - the central system managing pricing for all of Tesla's sales channels. You'll own the end-to-end pricing execution and strategy for the vehicle business, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering, Finance, and Analytics to optimize the platform for current operations and future scalability. This includes driving efficiencies in high-impact areas like global margin analysis, dynamic pricing models, and integrations that support emerging initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmapto enhance andoptimize Tesla's pricing platform, ensuring smarter, more efficient pricing applications across the entire technology stack

• Lead cross-functional collaborationwith Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Production Support teams to drive the development and continuous improvement of the pricing platform

• Gain deep insights into internal user workflows,identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and improve operational efficiency across complex pricing processes

• Work on building simulations comparing historical and forecasted data to asses the impact of changes being proposed

• Partner with engineering teamsto design and implement a scalable platform architecture that not only addresses current business needs but alsoanticipates and supports future growth and product expansion

• Integrate yourself within the functional decision-making teamby building strong partnerships with sales/finance to collaborate with them on new strategies/refine existing ones

• Manage dependenciesacross multiple teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment andtimely delivery of key projects

• Collaborate with analytics and key stakeholdersto define, track, and refine KPIs that inform data-driven business decisions related to pricing strategies

• Balance prioritieseffectively between new feature development, architectural improvements, andmaintaining operational excellence, aligning with overall business goals

What You'll Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in product management,with a focus on supporting the development and optimization of internal tools and services

• Data, Finance, Economics, Computer Science experience is a plus

• Experience with financial information and LLM is a plus

• Strong analytical skillswith the ability toquery and interpret data, trends, and algorithms, demonstrating comfort with logic and numbers to support decision-making

• A proactive mindset, with a bias towardtaking action based on available information and the ability to work through ambiguity

• Success in leading new initiatives, driving results with limited resources and evolving information

• Effective collaborationacross cross-functional teams, balancing multiple competing priorities and fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders.Exceptional communication is a must

Expected Compensation $136,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
