Job Title: Restoration & Remediation Disaster Response Apprentice:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Restoration & Remediation Disaster Response Apprentice to join our Kansas team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start a career in the disaster restoration industry. You will receive comprehensive, on-the-job training to develop the technical skills necessary to assist in property restoration, remediation, and emergency response efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Disaster Response: Assist the team in responding to emergency property damage, including water, fire, mold, asbestos, lead, hazmat, biohazard and other catastrophic events.
• Remediation Support: Support senior technicians in containment, cleaning, drying, and restoration processes for residential and commercial properties.
• Skill Development: Participate in active job training to learn industry-standard protocols, safety procedures, and the proper operation of specialized equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained for rapid deployment.
• Documentation: Assist in documenting site conditions, inventory, and project progress as required.
• Operational Flexibility:
• • Travel: This role requires the ability to travel back and forth to the Kansas office as needed to support operations.
  • On-Call Availability: Participation in an on-call rotation is required to ensure 24/7 disaster response readiness.
• General Duties: Perform all other duties as required to support the smooth operation of remediation projects and office goals.

Requirements:

• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and during irregular hours (including on-call).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to the Kansas location and surrounding job sites as needed.
• Professionalism in communication and conduct when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
