Behavioral Health AideThe Behavioral Health Aide will be a part of our team as we enhance our integrated service delivery model between healthcare disciplines. The Behavioral Health Aid works as a Clinical Associate under the supervision of a Master's level Clinician to deliver crisis and informal supportive counseling services, preventive care, early intervention, case management, and aftercare services to children and adults with assistance from other members of the treatment team.Essential FunctionsDeliver prevention, intervention, treatment, and aftercare services to individuals affected by substance abuse and mental health disordersMaintain awareness of community resources available to un'ina and familiesCollaborate with Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians to ensure un'ina (patient) receives highly coordinated careKeep case records up to date, comprehensive in nature and in accordance with Tribal, State and Medicaid standardsOperate independently under the guidelines of the BHA/P program manualRespond promptly to community needs, providing support as requiredMaintain required qualifications and adhere to all applicable external and internal mandates, including legislation, governing practices, licensure and registration requirements, professional degree criteria, ongoing training for sustained competency, on-the-job training requirements, and established professional standards of practiceEnsures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinanceIt is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
