Plumbing Service Tech

Summary As a Plumbing Technician at Colony Heating and Air Conditioning, you will be an essential part of our dedicated team, providing top‑notch plumbing services to our residential and commercial clients. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. A Plumbing Service Technician works with all aspects of plumbing system repairs and maintenance. Must have at least 2 years of Plumbing experience. This is required. Duties and Responsibilities Install, test, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures. Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations. Install and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures. Install and repair valves, pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage systems. Perform maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues. Troubleshoot and diagnose electric as well as gas water heaters (power vent and natural gas). Experience with using manometers. Experience and understanding of voltmeter (volts/ohms). Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate proper services and offerings. Boiler experience is preferred. Tankless water heater experience is preferred. Able to run a plumbing service truck on your own. Keep work site, truck, and tools cleaned up daily. Use specialized tools and equipment. Work rotating on call schedule. Performs other duties as assigned. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Excellent knowledge of safe work environments. A mechanical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Must successfully pass background check. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as willingness and ability to occasionally work with others. Ability to perform tasks on their own as well as follow instructions when given. Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Must have experience in all aspects of plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. 2 years field service experience is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
